Louise & Matt got married at Oakwell Hall earlier this year. The day was a relaxed and fun celebration, making great use of all the space available. The day started with the wedding ceremony in the main hall, the light from the large windows flooding the room. They had two readings with one featuring a hilarious mix of song lyrics through the years leaving everyone laughing. (Especially getting in a little Alan Partridge).
After the ceremony everything moved to the gardens for a drinks reception which was finished with the arrival of the New York Brass Band who lead the whole wedding party round the corner to the Barn, having everyone dancing their way around. The New York Brass Band continued to play a lively set of New Orleans inspired tracks while everyone relaxed on the deck chairs.
Louise & Matt had decorated the barn with loads of bunting, hanging hearts, fairly lights, with each table featuring a selection of the beautiful flowers and not forgetting a selfie stick. The barn was transformed in to a cosy space which really changed as the evening progressed and the sun went down.
Being big fans of a great curry the wedding breakfast was a fabulous feast from the restaurant Zouk, this was served family style to the table, and tasted great. Following the speeches the evening celebration started with a lively first dance, with the packed dance floor continuing well into the evening.
