When I chat to my couple about where might be the best place for a pre-wedding shoot, my first suggestion is always, is there anywhere that has special importance, or places that mean something to you? With Daisy and Alex they had a couple of suggestions so even better. Having fairly recently got a new family member in the form of cute little labrador pup Nala, they found themselves spending alot of time around a local weir. Our first stop had to be a wander down to the Burley in Wharfedale Weir, taking in the stepping stones, and plenty of doggies treats. Nala was well behaved apart from running off with the treat box, although did get Alex a tad wet! After swapping into a dry shirt we headed on down to Herber’s Ghyll just the other side of Ikley. Made up of a selection of little bridges crossing the stream it’s a lovely walk and had plenty of great spots to capture some imagery on the way up.
