I had the pleasure of shooting Adrain and Davina’s wedding on a beautiful August day at Easby Hall. Nestled just below Richmond and surrounded by beautiful countryside, the location was the perfect backdrop for their day. Davina chose to get ready at her parent’s home with her closest friends and family. The church was very close to the house so made for a short journey around the corner for the ceremony. Adrian and their guests were patiently waiting as Davina made her way down the aisle, the beautiful service followed.
After the fanfare exiting the ceremony with a confetti tunnel, we went to make the most of the light and took some portraits in the shaded church gardens. Meanwhile, the guests made their way over to Easby Hall. We joined them shortly after for some fun in the sunshine on the lawn before dinner.
The Hall itself is beautiful and overlooks the ancient monument Easby Abbey which made for a great backdrop in the images. Making the most of the long summer day Adrain and Davina decided to cut the cake outside which was a really nice touch. It also gave the little ones an excuse to run around a little longer! As the sun was dropping the guests headed back inside to kick off the evening festivities and I took the opportunity to get some party action.
