I’ve been wanting to shoot a wedding/engagement at East Riddlesden Hall for a while now so when Louise and Mark suggested it as a location it sounded a great idea. The hall is a 17th century manor house on the outskirts of Keighley. Owned by the National Trust it has beautiful gardens around the back as well as a large pond which is overlooked by the Airedale barn where weddings are held. All in a great location, with loads of different spots to play with. We started shooting around the back in the formal gardens, making the most of the backdrop of the hall, before heading out to the front to get a bit wider taking in the full views. There’s loads of hidden features and little nooks within the grounds that make for great pictures, unfortunately we were a little early for all the flowers to be in bloom but there was still loads to work with we even found a little lego man hiding in the dirt behind the barn who joined in for a mini shoot. I can’t wait to share Louise and Mark’s wedding which was a really good fun day, so that post will follow once they have seen all the images soon.
