Emma and Andy got married at The Priory Cottages. Set in the grounds of a farm out near Wetherby it features a great converted barn as well as plenty of cottages set in a courtyard. With nothing but open fields around there are endless possibilities for photos within a moments walk.
I started the day capturing the bridal preparation, the ladies were taking it easy getting hair and make up done, along with plenty of prosecco. Andy was getting ready at one of the cottages across the courtyard and taking it easy relaxing with family and welcoming guests. The ceremony room in the barn had been styled beautifully featuring loads of pastel pinks, along with a big flower archway for the service. Waiting at the back of the room were a large vocal choir ready for Emma’s entrance, and a great rendition of Pharrel Willams Happy that had everyone on their feet.
We lucked out on the weather, so the afternoon was spent drinking prosecco in the courtyard and nibbling on the canapés from Taste Cuisine. Before the wedding breakfast Andy, The Best man and Emma’s dad gave some great speeches. The evening celebrations kicked off with Emma and Andy taking a few moments for a mellow first dance before the party stepped up with a live band, plenty of dance floor action and a few Jagerbombs all round!
