A pre-wedding shoot is always a good chance to get to know a bit more about couples and find out what’s important on their wedding day. Picking a location is important, sometimes it’s about an area that means a lot to the couple, other times it’s something totally unexpected and different. For Ellen & James it was exploring a place that meant something to them both.
Having already discussed visiting Almscliffe Crag on the wedding day, they decided on Stainburn Forest for their engagement shoot, being somewhere they visit often, it had a lot of fun locations to capture some great images. Our shoot took place in the Woodlands, and finished on Little Almscliffe with its beautiful clear blue skies it provided a great contrast to the forest. Not far from Leeds and Harrogate Stainburn Forest is a great place to explore and capture some lovely portrait photos.
